Do I have to pay for you to come out and look at my fireplace?
Good news…our level 1 inspections are free. Our goal is never to price gouge our clients or oversell you on work that does not need to be done. We guarantee straight forward information and honest prices in our estimates that you will receive after your free inspection.
How long does a chimney cleaning take?
The time will vary from unit to unit, but a typical full service chimney cleaning should not exceed an hour.
Do I need to be home for an inspection?
If the area to be inspected is all exterior, then no! The Flue Doctor is happy to come take a look and provide you with your estimate via email/fax. However if interior aspects are to be inspected, then we appreciate your allowing us to enter the home and efficiently conduct our inspection.
How often should I get my chimney serviced?
We recommend an annual inspection and sweep for safety purposes.
Do you do dryer vent cleaning as well?
Yes! We are happy to clean your dryer vent for safety purposes as well.
Do you represent buyers and/or sellers through chimney inspections during the sale of a home?
